…the weather is rubbish and my cameras are full of half finished ISO100. Here’s a few randoms that were kicking around my HD.
Shortly we’re off to Bilbao then a little camping trip to the Basque Country coast – hopefully there will be sun….

We live on an Island in the middle of the Irish Sea. I choose to live here because I love it.
P.S. This isn’t my house…

Whilst the Euro 2012 Championships hosted by Poland and Ukraine have been deemed to be a success by the world media, In Poland the organisation of the championship was sold as a huge development opportunity for Polish cities. There was/is however an undercurrent by many people in Poland that it was a disgraceful waste of money and the real cost of the championships will never be disclosed.
The above photographs were taken in Poznan during the first few days of the Euro’s where hundreds of people protested against the anti social policy of Poznan municipality and polish government.
Here’s the full statement by the organisers – http://10czerwca.eu/

….. Oh dear, looks like the film got stuck in the Minox.
The photograph is a collage of the half hour walk from where we were staying, along the tramway and into Poznan City centre .
The red heat you can see by the way are from Croatian football fans letting off flares in the square.

Finally back on the Island this morning after a whirlwind trip to Manchester to see Portico Quartet, I highly recommend you check them out if they’re in your area. An intense show from truly talented forward thinking musicians, along with the wonderful Cornelia who performed the track ‘Steepless’ as part of PQ’s encore – check her blog ‘The Cornelia Diaries‘.
Also, if you’re in the UK make sure you check Cornelia sing Steepless live onBBC 6Music early on Sunday morning … stream via iPlayer here [ Interview and ‘Ruins’ starts at at 1:17:00 and again at 1:43:00 with Cornelia by the way ]
Took a load of photographs on the Sunday so hope to get them up over the next week or two.

So, after almost two years in the splendid isolation that is The Studio at Shenvalla Farm , i’m moving out – its served it purpose and its time to move on.
All my music gear is packed away and moved to a studio in Douglas, my big music project still not quite finished, again 😮
Just house sitting for a friend for a couple months while I look for a new place. No idea where at the moment though…..which is sort of exciting.
I always surprise myself on how quick things move once I actually make a decision…
