While i’m waiting for the LX to arrive back from its CLA i’ve been messing with the little Minox 35GT …. and I have to say I love it..

… so my beloved Pentax LX has developed the infamous “sticky mirror syndrome” which i’ve just discovered also throws the focussing out, explaining the mess my last roll of film through it was (nothing I focussed on was in focus, see the mess above ! )….. Time for a CLA…

Was out with my good friend Phil Kneen yesterday on a little tour with cameras – weather was hellish, too bad to even get a camera out of the bag to be honest, I wasn’t sure if it was sand or rain that was hitting me as we got closer to the end of the Lhen Trench where it meets the sea.
Under my hood I was trying to think what I really enjoyed taking a photographs of, then the se of Marram Grass I was surrounded by took on a beautiful yellowy tinge in the light as the sun made a brief appearance….

These are from the first roll through the K1000 with the f1.2 onboard. I just blasted through the whole film shooting wide open – whats the point of having 1.2 if you’re not gonna use it, ehh ? Bitch to focus the thing though….
